Acura MDX is a mid-size SUV that has been produced since 2000. This model was built on the Honda Pilot platform. In the Acura model lineup, MDX is in the flagship position, immediately above Acura RDX.

Two engines were offered for Acura MDX, both of them were 3.5-liter V6 J35A. First version got J35A3, and since 2003, J35A5 with increased power have been installed.
Second generation MDX had a single 6-cylinder J37A engine.
In Acura MDX third generation, V6 J35Y is used. MDX Hybrid is also available, which is fitted with a J30Y1 engine together with an electric motor that together give 321 HP.
